Set apart as a missionary 6/28/2016

Since he received his mission call letter in April, Elder Joseph Chou has been preparing for his mission.
Graduate from UVU with an associates degree, check.
Graduate from UCAS with his high school degree, check.
Graduate from seminary, check.
Accept misson call and complete remaining paper work, check.
Purchase items needed for his mission, check.
Attend the temple to receive his own endowment, check.
Complete all other needful things for his mission, check.

Elder Chou's immediate family was present, along with other relatives. The Teruya's have come from Texas to be with him.


Tonight, President Arnold, the stake president of the Cedar Hills West Stake, visited our home to set apart Elder Joseph Chou to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, assigned to labor in the China Hong Kong Mission. He was assisted by Elder Chou's father.
Elder Chou is now officially called and set apart as a missionary, and for the next 24 months he will consecrate his time and energy to teach God's children the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.
